Job Summary

Jr. Demand Planner is the key person to manage and upload weekly and monthly forecast process.

In addition, this role requires a heavy involvement in Demand Planning activities in Demand Planning email inbox and Supply Chain analyses including forecasting, warehouse analyses, and supply chain reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management, enhancement, and support of demand planning and forecasting systems, tools and reports used in developing operational forecasts and demand plans for use in Sales and Operational Planning.
  • Manage, analyze, and execute demand forecast and update based on actual sales, usage, trends, promotional plans, new product launch projections, and revised sales plan.
  • Responsible for new product forecasts using information provided by Sales, Marketing and like product sales histories. Perform numerous scenario plans to evaluate forecast outcomes.
  • Manage / Improve current Forecast Database using MS Access.
  • Develop and present forecast accuracy and performance reports to identify problems and opportunities and make recommendations for improvements to the demand & production plans of Finished Goods.
  • Learn, understand, and be capable for managing, enhancing, and supporting Finished Goods demand planning and forecasting systems, tools and reports used in developing operational forecasts and demand plans for use in Sales and Operational Planning.
  • Assist and coordinate the cross-functional actions, analyses, and tasks involved in Supply Chain projects with focus on New Product Launches.

Required Skills

  • BA/BS college degree required with Supply Chain related major • Working knowledge of MS Excel • 2 years of experience in Planning / Supply Chain preferred • Demonstrated proficiency in forecasting methods or planning methods preferred • Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and programming skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills are required in order to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business affecting the planning process.
  • Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects and initiatives to meet desired deadlines.
  • Demonstrate initiative and work in a collaborative team environment to address complex issues.

Salary : $49,500 - $62,600
