What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Assistant position at Benjamin Franklin Classical Charter Public School?
The Art Assistant’s primary responsibility is to support the smooth and successful operation of art classes through direct assistance to the Art Teacher and support of students during art class. This will involve supervising instruction under teacher guidance and maintaining classroom management; supervising and guiding students in the use of appropriate materials and techniques; storing, maintaining and preparing resources; and encouraging and facilitating effective use of the materials and space by students.
