Rate of Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr
Job Description
Benjamin Franklin Charter School is looking for a Bus Driver for our 2026-2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for safety and conduct of passengers in accordance with State and Transportation Department regulations.
- Responsible for all safety procedures including (but not limited to) assisting students and staff as they enter and exit the vehicle.
- Ensures the bus is in good operating condition. Performs daily safety inspection of the bus; identifies and reports needed repairs and mechanical problems.
- Report student misbehavior appropriately to the transportation coordinator and document contact.
- Prepares disciplinary referrals as needed.
- Maintains current route sheets.
- Maintains clean bus (interior and exterior).
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possession of or ability to receive within initial training process, current Arizona commercial driver’s license and State Bus Driver’s Department of Public Safety certification
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Will be required to pass a criminal background check upon hire
- Clear driving record for the past 5 years
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL with Passenger Endorsement for School Bus Driving
