Position Summary
The Sales Account Manager (Crane Division) is responsible for the Company's sales and gross profit goals to include all sales within the assigned territory. Market analysis, research and the establishment of marketing and promotional activities are the required responsibilities.

The Sales Account Manager (Crane Division) is responsible for the Company's sales and gross profit goals to include all sales within the assigned territory. Market analysis, research and the establishment of marketing and promotional activities are the required responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions
- Determines the service to be offered consistent with the company's mission and on-going evaluation process
- Identifies the unique service demands each Customer requires and solicits business from these Customers with an open eye to expanding and maximizing service realized from each account
- Directs the Company's efforts in developing and maintaining reliable service capability
- Monitors pricing and trends in the territory
- Researches and analyzes the marketplace to determine increased sales potential in the current niche and evaluate market possibilities
- Presents Sales reports to the Director of Sales in a timely fashion
- Provides effective Customer Service by assuming the "Role of the Customer" to communicate to the Customer BENGAL'S emphasis in technical knowledge, quality, timeliness, shipping procedures, transactional paperwork and payment procedures
- Investigates all Customer complaints and develops permanent solutions for Customer Service problems
- Monitors and controls expenditure of the territory sales and marketing function to conform to budgetary requirements
- Establishes short-range and long-range planning of Sales and Marketing
- Knows Customers, Competition and Sales territories
- Consistently upgrades selling skills by analyzing opportunities and failures, seeking Management's guidance and assistance
- Keeps the Sales Representative informed of any adverse activities affecting the Company's operations
- Monitors promotional programs
- Maintains, develops and increases Customer Accounts
- Works with Management to collect Accounts Receivable
- Attends Sales training and meetings
- Maintains an active "New Client" database
- Must meet or exceed company Goals, Objectives and Sales quotas
