Growing third party administrator of employee benefit funds is seeking a Pension Department Manager for our Oak Brook office. We are seeking candidates interested in working in a fast-paced environment specializing in Trust benefit administration to fill a full-time position. The Pension Department Manager position should have expertise in both defined benefit and defined contribution retirement multi-employer plans. This is a senior level position which requires 5 years in retirement plan administration experience.
Job responsibilities include:
- Conversions/new business/mergers
- Plan Amendments and their implementation and testing
- Actuary data
- Complex calculations
- 401k non-descrimination testing
- Escalated calls needing a Supervisor
- Reviews of processed applications
Requirements:
- College diploma
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to organize, set priorities, work independently and complete multiple projects within established deadline
- Experience with Taft-Hartley labor union retirement plans is a plus
