Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will be the primary liaison between Benefits in a Card and our staffing firm clients. This role requires a proactive communicator, detail-oriented coordinator, and problem solver who is passionate about helping clients succeed with our health benefits offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of staffing firm clients.
- Onboard new clients, guiding them through setup, compliance, and enrollment processes.
- Maintain strong client and broker relationships through regular check-ins, benefit reviews, and renewals.
- Coordinate with internal teams (implementation, customer service, compliance) to ensure client satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
- Provide insights and feedback to improve our services and optimize client success.
- Track account activity and retention metrics using CRM tools.
Requirements
- Ideally this talent will have 2 years of proven experience in an account manager role and/or in a role where they were responsible for client success (any experience in the staffing industry or benefits administration is a plus).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients’ needs simultaneously.
- Proficiency in renewals, quoting, open enrollment planning, and carrier/vendor liaison tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Willingness to attend client meetings on-site or virtually.
- Ability to learn quickly and think on your feet.
- Driven, adaptable, and team oriented.
Location: 725 Lowndes Hill Road, Greenville, SC 29607 – This role requires on-site, 5 days a week with working hours of 8am until 5pm EST.
