How You Will Make An Impact
- Designs, executes and interprets complex procedures and protocols within a project or goal, subject to approval of supervisor
- Performs complex procedures independently
- Reduces literature references to practice
- Writes SOPs and protocols
- Demonstrates ability to accurately record and review laboratory documentation generated from developmental as well as established procedures
- Trains and directs junior researchers
- Influences purchase of laboratory supplies as well as capital equipment
- Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position
- Experience in operating laboratory equipment and working with potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, solvents, etc.),
- Knowledge of QHSE Systems, preventative measures and laboratory best practices
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- BA/BS Degree in biology, chemistry or relevant field
