Specialty Responsibilities
How You Will Make an Impact
- Utilize pharmaceutical techniques such as Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) to evaluate the physical state and monitor kinetically stabilized formulations.
- Perform complex experiments to evaluate bioavailability-enhancing potential of formulations in biorelevant experiments related to performance.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for routine laboratory procedures.
- Prepare and deliver data on time to support formulation and manufacturing projects.
- Stay current with industry best practices in analytical chemistry and materials science.
- Perform technical assignments based on established work plans with oversight from senior team members.
- Apply foundational scientific principles to experimental work, supporting data collection and project objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate workflow and meet deliverable timelines.
- Follow regulatory requirements and contribute to inspection readiness through compliant work practices.
- Present basic data clearly and support interpretation and communication of results.
- Respond to inquiries using data references and context to help clarify outcomes or identify next steps.
- Assist with problem-solving tasks using standard methods, focusing on execution.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- No prior experience required.
- One or more years of experience in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutics, or a related role in the industry.
- Will accept a degree in a less related field and one to four years of laboratory experience (e.g., laboratory technician).
