How You Will Make An Impact
- Receive, label and analyze samples (Formulation, Stability, etc.)
- Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures under close to moderate supervision. May have demonstrated ability to act independently as situations allow
- Make observations and interpret findings
- Conduct experiments under defined conditions with supervision to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods
- Organize and store all chemical substances, fluids and compressed gases according to safety instructions
- Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility
- Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
- Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position
- Experience in operating laboratory equipment and working with potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, solvents, etc.),
- Knowledge of QHSE Systems, preventative measures and laboratory best practices
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- BA/BS Degree in biology, chemistry or relevant field
