Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials & Inventory Coordinator to manage purchasing, receiving, inventory control, and invoicing to support project timelines and shop operations. This role requires strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials for inventory and active projects.
- Review project schedules daily to ensure materials are ordered and received before start dates.
- Track long lead-time items and expedite urgent orders when necessary.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming materials
- Maintain organization and labeling of inventory rooms, job cabinets, laminate racks, solid surface storage, and Conex boxes.
- Pull shop supplies and stock hardware as needed.
- Conduct weekly material reviews to identify returnable items and confirm eligibility before disposal.
- Enter and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and no duplication.
- Enter pay applications.
- Run company errands as needed.
- File required paperwork in designated systems.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in purchasing, inventory, or materials coordination preferred
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
