What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at Benchmark Window, Inc.?
Ability to set and install windows and doors (at least 1 year experience)
Must have drivers license and complete/pass background check
· Ensure all material for job is loaded properly on and off truck by following safety procedures
· Working with person in charge to work with crews on jobsite
· Ensure safety of all crew and utilizing PPE on jobsite and en route to job site (driving)
· Obtain and understand job schedule and complete necessary paperwork at end of day/job and turn in to office.
· Ensure you have properly clocked in and clocked out every day
· Be face of BWI on jobsite with Field managers and construction managers.
· Treat all customer personnel and BWI personnel with utmost respect.
· Ensure quality of installation of each job meets BWI standard before leaving job site
· Ensure all unused material return to warehouse accordingly and documented on paperwork if not installed at initial jobsite visit
· Ensure jobsite is adequately cleaned up and no debris or trash is left behind
· Ensure no residue from caulk or other material damages or is left on any material or window
· Must wear steel toed boots, gloves, safety eye wear, proper clothing, hard hat, have ladder safety training before use, wear your seat belts at all times in vehicles, no texting and driving, communicate/text with Regional Manager, Crew Leader and crew if out or late or clock in and out issues.
Salary : $17 - $21
