We’re working with a client seeking a Project Accountant to support a project-based company in the industrial services and warehouse solutions space. This role will help manage project financials, month-end close, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting for a business with ongoing customer projects, vendor activity, subcontractor costs, and job cost tracking.

Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end close and reporting
- Maintain project financials and reconciliations
- Prepare accruals, journal entries, and schedules
- Track project costs, invoices, and contract status
- Prepare job cost and project performance reports
- Support project revenue and cost recognition
- Analyze variances, trends, and cost issues
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support audit requests and documentation
- Improve workflows, procedures, and reporting processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to review contract-related financial details
- Detail-oriented with strong organization and deadline management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Project accounting, job costing, or construction accounting experience
- Experience in construction, engineering, consulting, or professional services
- Exposure to work-in-progress reporting or project revenue recognition
- Budgeting, forecasting, or audit support experience
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
