The Specifications Writer is responsible for preparing and developing specifications for construction documents. The right candidate has a strong understanding of the architectural or engineering industry including scheduling, materials, and methods. The ability to write descriptions specifying material qualities and properties, utilizing knowledge of material and code standards, construction processes or manufacturing procedures within project parameters is desired. Experience using specification editing software is a plus.

Requirements
Must have one of the following:
- High-school diploma or GED and 3 years applicable work experience in an office environment.
- 2 year degree and 1 year work experience.
- 3-year applicable experience in MS Office including, but not limited to Word & Excel.
- Applicable work experience in an Architectural or Engineering consulting firm.
