Outsourced Accounting Manager (Client Advisory and Growth Track) Our Client | Dallas, TX (In-Office)

Our Client is a specialized advisory and consulting firm built exclusively for the green industry. They partner with business owners across the country who are exceptional operators but need stronger financial clarity, structure, and decision-making support to grow profitably. This is not traditional accounting. This is industry-specific financial partnership that blends accounting, advisory, and real-world business insight.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a portfolio of industry-focused clients, typically in the $5M to $10M revenue range

• Oversee and review monthly financials including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow 

• Apply industry-specific metrics and benchmarks to evaluate performance and profitability

• Provide insight into budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making

• Lead or support onboarding of new clients through a structured transition process

• Participate in client conversations, including prospective client calls when appropriate

• Translate financial data into clear, practical guidance for business owners

• Support internal team members with technical accounting questions and financial reviews

• Operate within a cloud-based environment using QuickBooks Online

Two Ways This Role Can Grow

Client Advisory Track

• Become a trusted advisor to business owners

• Lead onboarding and help convert inbound opportunities into long-term clients

• Play a key role in strengthening and expanding client relationships

Technical Leadership Track

• Own the quality and accuracy of financial reporting across clients

• Lead reviews of balance sheets, P&Ls, and supporting schedules

• Serve as the internal resource for complex accounting and financial questions

• Free up leadership to focus on growth and strategy

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical accounting foundation with the ability to review and interpret financials

• Experience working across multiple clients or business entities

• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis

• Ability to connect financials to real business performance

• Confidence communicating with business owners or leadership teams

• Comfortable getting on the phone with business owners and leading conversations when needed

• A mindset that balances analytical thinking with practical, real-world application

Ideal Background

• 4 years Client Accounting Services or outsourced accounting experience

• Public accounting background with exposure to small to mid-sized businesses would be a big plus

• Experience working with owner-led businesses

Compensation

• Base salary targeted in the $95K to $105K range incentive/production-related bonus with unlimited upside
