We are seeking a Part time Kennel Assistant/Retail Sales/Bather to join our team evenings and weekends You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals and property at our facility.
Mature candidate must be able to operate computer/cash register and possess phone skills. Hourly salary increases commensurate with performance.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and bathing of the animals
- Assist in restraining animals for brushing/nail clipping
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment/facility grounds
- Take reservations for boarding and maintain file records/phone skills
- Check in and Discharge appointments
- Learn operation of the cash register
Qualifications:
- Previous experience desired, but will train the right individual- in animal care or other related fields
- Passion to help and treat animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

** Retail sales and computer/QuickBooks a plus**
