Position Summary
We are seeking exceptional team members. They want to be part of a growing firm and group of firms. Our industry is in need of exceptional CPA firms and the large firms are not cutting it and the small firms are getting burnt out. Business owners, investors, and people with simple the complex tax scenarios need our help and we want you to join us in solving some exciting problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of a variety of tax returns, including individual, S Corporation, partnership, C Corporation, trust, nonprofit, and gift tax returns.
- Assist in providing technical accounting support, including in-depth review and reconciliations.
- Assist in providing strategic tax planning and financial advisory services to diverse clientele, including business owners, investors, real estate funds, construction, e-commerce enterprises, and high net worth individuals.
- Operate independently, demonstrating initiative and taking ownership of tasks while also working collaboratively with other team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Some tax preparation experience is preferred, but not required.
- Some bookkeeping experience.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar software
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Google equivalents
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- CPA designation or enrolled agent status is a plus.
