Bemana is seeking a Cooling tower technician in Ashburn, Virginia. This person will be servicing cooling towers with a company centered on company culture and training technicians to the highest standards. They are looking for a mechanically inclined individual with some experience with residential HVAC, plumbing, or technical experience. This person will be responsible for reporting to the shop each day and working well with a team of other technicians. Position Offers:Up to $27/hr depending on experience overtime opportunities. Conduct routine maintenance of cooling towers; cleaning, greasing bearings, changing oil. Install new cooling towers and equipment according to manufacturers specs.Procures all material in a timely manner to meet service level agreements for scheduled completion dates.Responds immediately to emergency situations and management concerns.Performs all work to industry standards and maintains a professional manner and appearance at all times.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.Experience with Microsoft office for reporting projects and viewing technical instructions. Ability to use ladders, scaffolding, man lift equipment, forklifts, bobcats, and power tools.
