Key Account Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Key Account Specialist to join our customer service team at our Earth City, MO headquarters.

Job Summary  

The Key Account Specialist will serve on a team that provides full-service support for dedicated customers for all requests regarding order status, product information, account status, pricing, product, or service. Essential Job Duties:

• Work with distributors or original equipment manufacturers to serve identified “key” customers on appropriate product recommendations for simple and complex orders. 
• Respond to inquiries and prepare quotes / orders using the Microsoft D365 F&O Enterprise Resource (ERP) system. 
  
• Work closely with Sales Operations/Customer Service Managers, Plant Managers, and Product Group Managers to better serve customer needs. 
  
• Build strong working relationships with customers.
  
• Organize and audit daily production paperwork related to sales goals and customer deadlines. 
  
• Resolve customer complaints and ensure overall customer satisfaction through professional customer support. 

Qualifications:

• 3-5 year of industrial sales; inside sales, customer service, B2B or distributor sales.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft D365) highly preferred.
• High school diploma / GED equivalent required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• "Expert" practical knowledge of product and customer applications.
• Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of a company and with customers
• "Expert" level experience working in a Microsoft environment, with all Customer Service tools.
