What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint and Deburr position at Beloit Special Machining?
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Deburrer to join our team. The Deburrer will be responsible for finishing metal parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Will also need to paint and assemble parts if needed, build skids/crates for parts and load and unloading of larger parts with either a forklift or over head crane.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand part specifications
- Perform deburring, grinding, polishing and painting of metal parts
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality control standards
- Assemble components as needed
- Utilize tools such as grinders, saws and other hand tools
- Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Preparing material to ship on skids. Along with building wooden crates for shipping material.
Experience
- Previous experience in deburring, painting, or related field preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for understanding part functions and assembly processes
