We’re expanding our academic team and seeking a talented Instructional Designer to help transform complex clinical research into exceptional learning experiences for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. The Instructional Designer will design, structure, and build engaging, scientifically grounded, CME-quality educational materials for Worldlink Medical’s growing portfolio of courses. This role works closely with clinical subject-matter experts (SMEs), researchers, faculty, and curriculum leads to translate advanced hormone, metabolic, and lifestyle medicine research into structured, high-quality learning pathways. This is not a generic instructional design role—it requires the ability to collaborate deeply with medical experts and apply adult learning principles to highly technical clinical content.

Responsibilities
Instructional Design and Course Development
- Design and develop CME-accredited online and in-person learning experiences
- Create course structures, storyboards, scripts, assessments, and instructional materials
- Architect interactive and multimedia learning content including modules, case studies, visual diagrams, and clinical decision tools
- Ensure all learning materials align with adult learning theory and medical education best practices
- Work closely with content creators, clinical faculty, and researchers to translate current literature into digestible, clinically actionable educational materials
- Distill complex medical concepts in clear, purposeful learning objectives
- Participate in research-to-curriculum meetings to ensure instructional alignment
- Support development of materials that meet ACCME standards for CME accreditation
- Ensure content is evidence-based, unbiased, and clinically accurate
- Maintain revision cycles to update content as new research emerges
- Collaborate with internal team and faculty presenters to prepare slide decks, course outlines, and learner handouts
- Work with video editing teams to plan and script recordings
- Assist in organizing content for LMS learning pathways and evaluations
TRAINING
(e.g. Professional Qualifications, On-the-job Training, Education)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in instructional design, education, health sciences or related field
- 3 years of experience designing educational content (preferable medical field)
- Proven ability to translate technical content into clear, engaging learning experiences
- Strong command of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Excellent written communication, editing skills, and attention to detail
- Fluency with e-learning tools
- Ability to collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and SMEs in a structured workflow
- Experience with CME in understanding ACCME guidelines and CME compliance
- Experience in curriculum mapping and multi-course program structuring
- Familiarity with hormone therapy and optimal medicine topics is a plus
