What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compounding Technician Assistant position at Belmar Pharma Solutions?
POSITION OVERVIEW
Prepare and decontaminate hazardous and non-hazardous equipment and glassware for non-sterile and sterile operations according to USP 795/797/800 guidelines. Keep work areas organized. Perform weekly and monthly cleaning of the corridors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Distributes compounding supplies to departments.
Processes supply requests in a prompt, cooperative, and efficient manner
Assists with maintaining daily, monthly, and yearly inventory control for supplies and instruments.
Transports finished compounds to the fulfilment area or quality department as required
Washes and decontaminates hazardous and non-hazardous laboratory equipment and glassware and maintains a clean work area according to cleaning SOP guidelines. Restocks equipment and glassware in appropriate rooms.
Maintains equipment: Operating, calibrating and sterilizing lab equipment.
Follow safety procedures: Ensures a safe work environment by following hazardous drug safety, exposure and disposal guidelines and sharps safety procedures.
Cleans Non-Classified (CNC) areas and aids in cleaning select iso-classified areas
Cleans and transfers materials into CNC areas.
Mops non-sterile hazardous and non-hazardous corridor floors daily
Runs autoclave cycles, performs dehydrogenation of glassware, and vial washing procedures. (Applies to sterile facilities only)
Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures that apply to pharmacy services
Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, etc.) for long periods of time when required
Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift (up to 25 pounds) and repetitious physical activity.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to climb, reach, kneel, stoop, and bend.
Requires vision and hearing.
