Front Gate Guard

Job Summary

Belmar Golf Club is seeking a professional, courteous, and observant Security Gate Guard to manage the primary entrance of our residential and private facility. As the first point of contact for residents, members and guests, you will play a critical role in maintaining property security while providing a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for verifying credentials, logging visitor data via iPad, and ensuring only authorized personnel enter the grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Access Control: Greet every driver politely and verify their status as a resident, member, or guest.
• Credential Verification: Inspect vehicles for valid member/resident decals. For non-members, verify entry through pre-submitted guest lists, tee sheets, or by contacting the resident/member directly.
• Digital Logging: Maintain an accurate digital log of all guests, service workers, and deliveries using an iPad. This includes recording names, license plates, and purpose of visit.
• Service & Delivery Management: Verify and log contractor vehicles, service providers, and delivery drivers (e.g., DoorDash, Amazon, Walmart) before providing directions to drop-off points.
• Reporting: Document and report any suspicious activity, equipment malfunctions, or incidents to Management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Professionalism: Must remain courteous and professional at all times, even when enforcing restrictive access policies.
• Tech Knoledgable: Ability to operate an iPad (Google Forms), radios, and phone systems for communication and logging.
• Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for greeting visitors and coordinating with club management.
• Integrity: Strict adherence to privacy laws when handling sensitive member and guest information; personal liability applies to data mishandling.
• Reliability: Ensure a clean logbook handover and secure the shack at the end of every shift.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
