About the Role
Bellrae Marketing is looking for an organized, proactive marketer who wants to grow with a fast-moving marketing team.
This role is designed for someone with a strong foundation in marketing, content, communication, and organization who is still developing deeper channel expertise and strategic experience.
You will work across client content, social media, websites, reporting, meetings, and marketing production while learning how an agency operates across multiple client accounts.
We are a growing agency with a lot of exciting things on the horizon, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us! This role is intended to develop into a full-time position as the agency and role expand.
The right person will have opportunities to take on more ownership, specialize in the areas where they are strongest, and continue advancing within Bellrae Marketing.
Responsibilities
Content & Social Media Support
- Capture photo and video content at client content days and local events
- Capture Bellrae Marketing content with our CEO
- Organize, label, upload, and maintain photo and video libraries
- Edit short-form social media video content as needed
- Schedule approved social media posts in Sprout Social and Metricool
- Support social media topic ideation for select clients
- Research social media trends and best practices
- Review social media performance and flag top-performing content, trends, and opportunities for the team
- Support client social media community engagement
- Maintain client Facebook events as needed
Client Content & Website Support
- Maintain client websites, including uploading events, photos, and other approved content
- Write blog posts for select clients
- Review and proofread blogs written by Bellrae Marketing writers
- Format and publish blog content to client websites
- Write client case studies
- Monitor client reviews and support review responses
- Manage client Google Business Profiles, including publishing monthly posts
Reporting & Client Coordination
- Create and assemble client marketing reports
- Coordinate the reporting process by ensuring data is pulled, reports are assembled, specialist insights are included, and the Director has everything needed to interpret performance and present recommendations
- Attend monthly client meetings and take clear, organized notes for the team
- Translate meeting notes and action items into tasks in ClickUp
- Follow up with clients on outstanding approvals, assets, feedback, and information needed to keep work moving
Strategy & Team Support
- Provide administrative support for client Strategy & Growth Plans
- Help create and maintain client fulfillment documents for new clients
- Support the CEO with marketing, production, and administrative needs as needed
Qualifications
- Must be local to the Richmond area and available to attend client content days, events, and other on-site needs
- Must be available to work in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Innsbrook headquarters
- 1–3 years of marketing, communications, content, or related experience preferred
- Strong eye for capturing engaging, high-quality photo and video content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Self-starter who takes initiative and does not need to be reminded of every next step
- Naturally thinks ahead, anticipates needs, and looks for ways to keep projects moving
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and small details across several client accounts
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to jump in wherever support is needed
- Comfortable communicating with clients and following up on approvals, assets, or outstanding items
- Proficient with Google Workspace and Canva
- Comfortable using or quickly learning content editing tools such as Edits and CapCut
- Strong writing skills and the ability to draft, edit, and proofread marketing content
- Comfortable learning and working across marketing platforms, project management systems, and website tools

- $20/hour
- Must be available to work in-office on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Innsbrook headquarters
- Additional availability required for local client content days and events

The person in this role is successful when:
- Client and internal tasks stay organized and do not fall through the cracks
- Content, reports, website updates, and other deliverables are completed accurately and on time
- Photo, video, written, and social content is polished, on-brand, and meets Bellrae Marketing’s quality standards (you capture top-notch content!).
- Client approvals and outstanding items are proactively followed up on
- Meeting notes are clear, actionable, and translated into the right next steps
- The team can rely on you to notice what needs to happen next and help keep work moving
- Your marketing skills, judgment, and level of ownership continue to grow over time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
