BFA Fairfax Evening Custodian

Join our Team! - BFA Fairfax - Evening Custodial Sub Position We are seeking a reliable and dedicated temporary Evening Custodian to join our staff inside our freshly renovated building. Hours are 3pm to 11pm with flexibility, up to 5 days a week/M-F and some Saturdays available. This position will run through the winter months and potentially longer for the right candidate. Ideal candidates will take pride in their work, show strong attention to detail, and be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment during evening hours. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine sanitation and deep-cleaning tasks throughout school facilities Clean and disinfect classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpets Assist with minor facility upkeep and report maintenance issues Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards Qualifications: Experience in sanitation or professional cleaning Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and efficiently Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 40 lbs as needed Training available for the right candidate This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who values keeping a clean, safe environment and enjoys contributing to a positive school community.
