Job Overview
We are seeking a warm and friendly front of house assistant manager to join our established team. In this full time position, you will help train and supervise front of house staff and close the operation 5 nights per week, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hospitality. You have a natural ability to interact with and cater to a wide socio-economic clientele including high net worth individuals. Your positive attitude and effortless problem solving skills will foster and set the tone for a positive dining experience for everyone.
Expectations:
· Experience working with multiple restaurant outlets is preferred
· Prior experience working F&B within a hotel or resort helpful.
· Strong passion for culinary excellence, wine knowledge, and table service
· Staffing, training, and scheduling front of house staff
· Always be on the floor and available to staff during hours of service
FILL IN FOR SERVERS OR BARTENDERS AS NEEDED
MUST BE ABLE TO "GET HANDS DIRTY", VERY HANDS ON POSITION.
· Executes high caliber of service to all guests

· Communicate with the Chef to review daily specials and 86'd items
· Conduct pre-shift meetings and review all pertinent information for the day's business
· Review the reservations, pre-assign tables, and follow up on all special requests.
· Ability to work closely with hands-on General Manager & Ownership
· Previous seasonal restaurant experience preferred although this is a year round position.
Applicants should work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor.
Requirements include previous supervisory or management experience in an upscale restaurant.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the General Manager of restaurant to ensure efficiency and profitability.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among staff.
Skills
- Proven leadership skills with experience in hospitality management.
- Strong knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures.
- Experience in fine dining or quick service fast food restaurant settings is preferred.
- Excellent cash handling abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with both staff and customers.
