Medical Billing Salary: $25-28 per hour

Expectations for Medical Billing

• Prepares and submits clean claims to various insurance companies
• Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information
• Identify issues and patterns with claims/insurance companies and review to increase revenue and prevent unnecessary denials
• Following up on denied/unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
• Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing
  
  
  

Qualifications For Medical Billing

• Must have Medical Billing experience
• Medical Biller experience in LTC a plus
