We are looking for an individual with a Medical Billing & Coding background with 2 years healthcare experience and an interest in teaching to join our evening team.
The Medical Billing & Coding Instructor(Evenings) is responsible for teaching courses described in the Billing & Coding program each cycle. This includes utilizing effective teaching tools such as audio/visual equipment and reference materials; preparing lesson plans and learning experiences; following an established course outline; managing a classroom of students; evaluating students through testing and other related means and reporting on and recording class and individual student progress.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience working within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets helpful but not required
- Knowledge of QuickBooks helpful but not required
- Knowledge of Medical Office procedures and EMR programs helpful but not required
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Coding
- Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
- An ability to learn new methodologies and systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Teaching experience a plus

Schedule:
- Monday/Wednesday 6:00pm - 10:00 pm
- or
- Tuesday/Thursday 6:00pm - 10:00 pm

- Monday - Thursday 6:00pm - 10:00 pm
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
