Bellflower Unified School District is searching for an energetic and experienced Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach to lead our program at Bellflower High School. We are looking for a mentor who excels in tactical strategy, player recruitment within the school, and building a high-performance culture that values both on-court success and academic integrity.
Requirements / Qualifications
*Experience: At least 3–5 years of coaching experience at the high school varsity level or higher. *Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of offensive and defensive sets, scouting, and game management. *Certifications: (Must be active or obtainable before the start of the season) *Valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification. *NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching & Sudden Cardiac Arrest certificates. *Concussion in Sports & Heat Illness Prevention certifications. *Clearances: Valid TB Clearance and DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Clearance. *Comprehensive Resume detailing your coaching record and philosophy. *Cover Letter expressing your interest and specific goals for the BUSD basketball program. *Three (3) Professional References (including at least one from a previous Athletic Director or Administrator). *Copies of all Coaching Certifications.
