Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The Carpenter/Laborer will be responsible for executing tasks that contribute to the successful completion of residential and commercial projects.
Duties
- Perform trim carpentry, including installation of moldings, baseboards, and other decorative elements.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Engage in masonry work, including laying bricks and blocks as needed for structural support.
- Restore and refurbish existing structures, ensuring they meet current standards and aesthetics.
- Install cabinets with precision, ensuring proper alignment and secure fittings.
- Hang doors, ensuring they operate smoothly and fit correctly within frames.
- Assist with basic electrical tasks as required, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks.
- Painting application to enhance the appearance of finished projects.
- Fabricate custom components as needed for specific project requirements.
Skills
- Proficiency in trim carpentry techniques and practices.
- Strong ability to construct wood framed structures.
- Experience in masonry work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge and preferred experience with flooring installations such as wood plank, tile, vinyl, and carpet tile.
- Basic to moderate roofing abilities.
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

- Knowledge of restoration techniques for both interior and exterior structures.
- Skilled in cabinet installation with attention to detail for aesthetics and functionality.
- Experience in door hanging with an understanding of hardware installation.

- Familiarity with construction painting methods and materials.
- Ability to fabricate components tailored to project specifications.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from projects as needed.
- This position requires employees to furnish their own small hand tools (e.g., tape measure, utility knife, adjustable wrench, and similar basic tools).
