Belle’s Bagels is looking for a reliable, friendly Counter Service / Sandwich Specialist to join our team. This position is a key part of our morning operation and is responsible for taking care of customers while helping keep breakfast orders moving quickly and accurately.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week
• 6:45 AM – 2:30 PM
• Weekend rotation: 2 weekends on, 1 weekend off
• Must be available for the weekend rotation

Responsibilities:

• Operate the POS and process customer orders and payments
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service
• Answer the phone and take phone orders
• Assist the cook with preparing breakfast sandwiches
• Assemble and package pickup and takeout orders
• Make sure orders are accurate, complete, and properly packaged
• Keep the front counter, pickup area, and work stations clean and organized
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Restock front-of-house supplies as needed
• Communicate with the kitchen and other team members to keep orders moving
• Follow Belle’s food safety, cleanliness, and service standards
• Help wherever needed during busy morning periods

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling a POS system and cash/card transactions
• Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
• Team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed
• Previous restaurant, café, deli, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required

This is a hands-on position. You won't just be standing behind the register — you'll be interacting with customers, helping prepare breakfast sandwiches, putting together orders, answering the phone, and helping the team get through the morning rush.

Pay: $16.65 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
