Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, providing exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality beverages. Your role will involve not only preparing and serving coffee and other drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Must have great customer service and a Big smile ! Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate our Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Engage with customers to promote sales and suggest menu items based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while performing basic math calculations for change.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a positive experience for customers.
• Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
• Proficiency in cash handling and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and products.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
