Duties
- Organize, file, and retrieve physical and electronic records using document management systems
- Maintain accurate metadata and taxonomy classifications to ensure consistent categorization of documents and records
- Implement archival processing procedures in accordance with archival standards and best practices
- Ensure compliance management by adhering to regulatory requirements related to records retention and confidentiality
- Support digitization initiatives by converting paper documents into digital formats and managing content within content management systems
- Conduct proofreading and quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy and consistency before filing or dissemination
- Assist with archives management, including cataloging, indexing, and maintaining archival collections for easy access and preservation
Skills
- Proficiency in document management systems such as SharePoint, iManage, and other content management platforms
- Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and information governance principles
- Experience with filing, data management, and records management processes
- Knowledge of archival processing techniques and archival standards for preservation
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with compliance management, information security protocols, and confidentiality practices
- Attention to detail for proofreading, proofing documents, and maintaining data accuracy
- Administrative experience supporting information governance initiatives or records administration
- Ability to adapt quickly to digitization projects and archives management workflows
