What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Instructor position at Bellcate School?
Job Summary
Program Instructor’s primary role is to provide 1:1 or small group instruction, guidance and support to students in an individualized therapeutic and educational setting by implementing students’ IEP’s and Bellcate School program plans. The Program Instructor works in collaboration with Bellcate’s Special Education Ops Team, Case Managers, and Core Program Directors to support student’s individual educational, therapeutic and transition goals.

Provide supervision for the students you are assigned to and support their academic, therapeutic and transition related needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create meaningful connections with students.
Provide close supervision and support for the students you are assigned to
Facilitate and support 1:1 or small group instruction.
Responsible for specific student(s) based on the master schedule.
Implement curriculum to meet students’ academic, therapeutic and transition goals based on assessment.
Implement curriculum materials under the supervision of Bellcate's special educator.
Implement student behavior plans under the supervision of Bellcate case managers.
Create an atmosphere that is conducive for learning and uses differentiated instruction for high student engagement.
Continuous learning and growth to improve lesson plans and pedagogy.
Provide assistance to students with meeting IEP goals/objectives.

Knowledge
Education -Bachelor's degree or equivalent life/work experience
Experience working with students is preferred
Experience working in special education preferred
This is an in-person position only.

Pay: From $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
