Position: Full Stack TypeScript Developer (Node.js/React)
Location: Chesterfield, MO – 100% Onsite, 5 Days/Week
Duration: 12 Months with Possible Extension
Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Full Stack TypeScript Developer to build and support applications that interact with automated systems in an R&D environment. The role requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, SQL/database design, and JSON API development skills, along with the ability to handle development through implementation and support.
Must-Have:
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript development experience
- Hands-on Node.js and React experience
- Strong SQL query development
- Relational database design experience
- JSON/REST API development
- 5 years in programming, database design, or server administration
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must work onsite 5 days/week in Chesterfield, MO
- Must be comfortable working around greenhouse conditions, including heat, humidity, and plant pollen
- Must complete a JavaScript SQL technical assessment
- Git, GitHub Actions, and Docker are preferred
Responsibilities:
- Develop full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Build applications that interact with automated machinery and systems.
- Design relational databases, develop SQL queries, and create JSON APIs.
- Gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform coding, debugging, testing, implementation, and application support.
- Enhance existing automated software systems and contribute to product design and specifications.
