Role Description
This is a full-time Litigation Paralegal role, based on-site at our office in Austin, TX. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, drafting and filing pleadings and motions, and supporting attorneys in litigation preparation. The ideal candidate will organize and maintain case files, ensure compliance with court deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and third parties.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success as a litigation paralegal (3 years minimum)
- Prior experience litigating property taxes, liens and/or delinquent loans is a plus
- Familiarity with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
- Ability to learn quickly
- Proficient in using document management systems and legal case management software
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, efficiently prioritize work, and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and terminology
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Spanish language is a plus but not required
