Job description:
The Bellamy Law Firm, a well-established law firm serving the Grand Strand community, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our Myrtle Beach office. We welcome applicants with a paralegal certificate or degree (or equivalent experience).
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain files from intake through resolution
- Draft letters, pleadings, motions, orders, discovery, subpoenas, and deposition notices
- Coordinate and organize large-scale document intake and production including e-discovery
- File documents in State and Federal Courts
- Schedule and maintain litigation calendar including client meetings, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial
- Prepare and organize exhibits for depositions, hearings, and trial
- Correspondence with clients, attorneys, and court staff
- Legal research
- Potential client intake
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in civil litigation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active files simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and office software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, and PDF-XChange Editor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Compensation:
