Job Description:
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you are often the first and last person patients interact with. This role focuses on patient experience, scheduling, and keeping the front desk running smoothly each day.
This is an in-person, part-time role (20 hours per week), with a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM CT.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out
- Answer phones and route questions appropriately
- Make outbound calls or messages for reminders, missing paperwork, referrals, or schedule updates
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments
- Maintain an organized daily schedule and communicate changes
- Handle basic email, mail, scanning, faxing, and filing
- Support the clinic with light office needs as they arise
- Coordinate with fellow Patient Care Coordinators and our remote intake, authorization, and billing teams by sharing updates and proactively following up with patients to collect any missing information.
- Keep the front desk area calm, organized, and welcoming

Experience
