Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations
- Assist with food safety practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support bussing and cleaning duties to ensure a tidy dining environment for guests
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and order fulfillment
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations
- Experience in culinary tasks or kitchen operations is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
