POSITION SUMMARY
The Dishwasher washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. Keeps dish room and equipment clean and organized. May require independent judgment in the disposition of routine matters without direct supervision. Will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Chef.
REQUIREMENTS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Must follow all safety and OSHA regulations
Must be willing to come in contact with chemicals as needed per the position
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Must be able to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time (up to 5 hours) and be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift ups to 50 pounds.
Multi-task oriented.
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is standing the entire shift. The employee frequently reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, shakes, stirs, pours, carries, and pushes. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers; handle or feel objects, tools, or controls in repetitive motions. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally lifts and carries tubs and cases weighing up to 25 pounds. The employee must frequently communicate with Dining Room Assistants, Servers, and other staff. The employee is occasionally exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, cuts from knives, slipping, tripping, falls and burns; frequent exposure to smoke, steam, elevated temperatures, humidity, extreme cold; frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood and produce items and frequent washing of hands.
