Front of House Assistant Manager

The Front of House Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation at Bella Luna Café. They are responsible for supervising Front of House staff. Front of House Assistant Manager reports to the General Manager and Owner and performs the following duties:

• Oversee opening/closing duties

• Customer Service
• Problem solving
• Facilitate FOH and BOH issues
• Health & Safety standards
• Provide advice and suggestions to General Manager as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Be 21 years of age
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of the restaurants trading area.
• Have knowledge of service, food and beverage, generally involving at least 3 years of Front of House operations and/or assistant management positions.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register and POS system.
• Must have the stamina to work 50-60 hours a week
• Ability to perform all duties, demands and responsibilities as listed in this job description

Physical Demands

• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

Communication

• Regularly communicate the philosophy of the establishment to staff and guests
• Communicate with other management and support crew
