Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, restaurant management, and kitchen management, with a proven ability to create exceptional dining experiences. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu development, staff training, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting the needs of our diverse clientele.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellence in food preparation and presentation.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize food quality while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, including banquets and special events.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement new techniques or dishes that enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the hospitality or food industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
  • Experience with banquet preparation and execution is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests alike.
  • A passion for cooking and creativity in menu design is essential.
  • Bartending experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $45,427.00 - $55,902.00 per year
