Responsibilities
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting the needs of our diverse clientele.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to foster a collaborative team environment focused on excellence in food preparation and presentation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize food quality while minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods, including banquets and special events.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new techniques or dishes that enhance the dining experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role within the hospitality or food industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
- Experience with banquet preparation and execution is preferred.
