Busser, Food Runner, and Host

Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Runner and Host. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, ensuring guests have a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive to when they leave. You’ll assist in delivering food efficiently, managing guest interactions, and supporting the overall flow of service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working in a lively environment, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort.
• Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to tables while maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
• Support the dining team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly for new guests.
• Handle food handling with care, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately when needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any special guest requests or dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness in guest areas and work stations, supporting overall restaurant hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and basic food preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Experience with banquet service, bussing, or kitchen operations enhances your candidacy.
• Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Ability to stay organized and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
