Job Overview
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, phone etiquette, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks efficiently. Qualifications

• English/Spanish
• At least 2 year of experience working in a dental office
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A friendly, positive demeanor with patients and supported dental office team members
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Dental Assistant experience is a PLUS
• Working Knowledge of Dentrix experiences a PLUS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets patients, interpreters, and visitors, in person and by phone, in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner responds to inquiries, takes messages, and provides accurate information regarding schedules and services.
• Checks in, registers, and schedules patients in the practice management system. Maintains appointment schedules and follows office scheduling policies.
• Make 3-6 hours of outbound calls to leads or existing patients and help schedule appointments to come in and see the doctors.
• Assists in managing patient flow in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinates the distribution of walk-in and add-on patients appropriately. Interfaces with back-office regarding walk-in patients, cancellations, recalls, and delays to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assists with insurance eligibility verification.
• Receives patient payments, answers or appropriately refers to billing questions, and maintains appropriate records of all financial transactions.
• Assists in confirming and rescheduling appointments as needed.
• Opens and closes clinic and reception areas for all business hours.
• Maintains work area and reception lobby in a neat and orderly manner.
• Assists with other departments when called upon.
• Adheres to attendance standards in order to perform the job functions for daily operations and/or continuity of patient care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Work Location: In person
