Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting creative ideas and seasonal specials that excite our guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during busy service times, ensuring timely delivery of orders

Experience
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced culinary environments
- Proven dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus, showcasing knowledge of specialized meal preparations and dietary restrictions
- Strong culinary experience with excellent knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Hands-on experience in meal preparation, cooking, and food handling that emphasizes safety and hygiene practices
