Controller

$135–155K base bonus
Overview:
Seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to lead accounting, financial operations, and benefits for a distribution business. This role oversees multi-location operations and supports growth through M&A, integrations, and system implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting functions: AR, AP, GL, payroll, benefits, and HR administration
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes
- Support M&A activity, integrations, and system implementations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Partner with leadership on financial analysis and strategic initiatives
- Perform zero budget budgeting
- Pricing transfers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Experience in distribution, import/export, or similar industries
- Multi-location and team management experience required
- Strong systems and process improvement background
- German bilingual skills a plus
Salary : $135,000 - $155,000
