Job Summary
This performance-driven role focuses on building and strengthening customer relationships to drive revenue growth through strategic renewals, upselling, and cross-selling. You will take ownership of key accounts, ensuring customers remain engaged, see ongoing value, and continue to expand their use of company products and services. Your efforts will foster customer loyalty and position you as a trusted business partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for an assigned sales region, supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Manage customer quotations, contracts, and agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Use CRM tools to maintain visibility across the sales pipeline, track initiatives, address quality concerns, manage customer approvals, and document interactions.
- Gather market and customer insights to support strategic planning and regional growth.
- Develop deep knowledge of key accounts and collaborate with regional leadership to create tailored growth strategies.
- Provide feedback on market trends, pricing, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making.
- Serve as the liaison between the company and external sales partners, ensuring effective coordination and communication.
- Present sales strategies and performance updates to internal stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to quickly resolve customer issues and maintain service excellence.
- Handle pricing, order processing, tracking, and system reporting, and assist with troubleshooting as necessary.
- Support regional sales efforts, including CRM data management and pricing strategy execution.
- Assist with quoting activities, particularly for higher-value opportunities, ensuring competitive and strategic pricing.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as completing customer forms and maintaining internal documentation.
- Monitor and manage any deviations from standard contract terms, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
- Maintain accuracy in system data entry and reporting tools.
Additional Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and support the launch of new products.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to prioritize and meet customer delivery requirements.
- Conduct regular internal and external meetings to promote alignment and engagement.
- Support broader business objectives as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive commercial effectiveness.
- Skilled in developing and executing sales processes aligned with business strategy.
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills, especially in managing multiple stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing complex data sets and converting them into actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and reporting tools (Power BI or similar).
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards or similar).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2–4 years of relevant experience in a sales or commercial support role.
