Bell & Associates has partnered with our client in a search for a Controller to provide hands-on leadership over the accounting function and play a key role in the company’s continued financial success. This position will oversee a team of five accounting professionals, including the Accounting & Credit Manager, while driving accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with financial regulations.
The Controller will have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team, strengthen processes, and make a meaningful impact in this expanding business. We’re looking for an accounting leader who brings strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to partner with leadership to support informed business decisions within this expanding privately held organization.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and develop a team of five accounting professionals
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Responsibility for Sales & Use Tax filings in multiple states
- Manage financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insight and support business objectives
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and drive greater efficiency
Experience Required:
- 5 years in a leadership role within an accounting team
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and or Finance
- ERP systems knowledge with preference to NetSuite
- Advanced Excel skills
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
