We are partnering with a global, privately held organization within the music and entertainment industry that manages and administers music rights and royalty payments for songwriters and clients worldwide. This is a high-visibility, client-facing role within the royalty operations team, offering the opportunity to break into or grow within the music industry while developing a strong foundation in financial operations and client services.
Position Overview
The Client Services / Royalty Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the accurate tracking, allocation, and distribution of royalty payments. This position is both data-driven and client-facing, requiring strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of financial data.
You will work closely with internal teams and external clients (including Spanish-speaking songwriters), serving as a key point of contact while supporting day-to-day royalty operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Track, analyze, and process royalty payments with a high degree of accuracy
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to royalty allocations and payments
- Communicate directly with clients (songwriters and partners), including Spanish-speaking stakeholders
- Maintain and update financial records, reports, and spreadsheets
- Support high-volume data processing and reconciliation efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate royalty distribution
- Assist in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications (Must-Have)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business OR relevant experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Excel and working with financial data
- High attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of transactional data
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients professionally
