Assistant Controller

$130-145k plus bonus
Position Summary
The Assistant Controller will support the Controller in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, month-end and year-end close activities, audits, and financial analysis. This position requires a strong accounting background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the management of daily accounting functions.
- Oversee and/or assist with accounts payable, billing, payroll, cash application, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliations.
- Assist with job costing and related financial analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports.
- Support internal and external audits and provide requested documentation.
- Assist with maintaining accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- CPA required
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable, billing, payroll, cash application, fixed asset management, job costing, and financial statement preparation
- Extensive audit and accounting experience; public accounting or audit firm experience preferred.
- Experience with Oracle accounting information systems preferred.
- Experience with OneStream planning and reporting software preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Positive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Salary : $130,000 - $145,000
