Job Summary
We are seeking to add a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Auto Body Collision Estimator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and ensuring that all work meets industry standards. The role requires a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostic, along with excellent communication skills to interact with customer and technicians effectively.
Duties:
- Inspect vehicles and complete a detailed blueprint for fixing the vehicle
- Effectively communicate to customers what is to be done to their vehicle to properly repair it
- Update customers on a regular basis
- Ensure customer files in CCC are up to date, completed and ready to close when the car is delivered
- Effectively negotiate with insurance companies
- Review files before deliver and ensure all payments have been made from insurance company
- Review all initial and supplemental estimates that insurance adjusters write before they leave
- Partner with Shop Manager to ensure open communication from office to shop
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage several jobs at once
Experience:
- At least 3 years experience with DRP's
- Knowledgeable of CCC computer estimating software and packages
- I-CAR and ASE
- A positive and personable attitude with people
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
